NO SUBSTITUTE

Related image

Busyness is not holiness!

We can never substitute our good works of ministry, for our holiness before the Father.
.
Romans 12:1 MSG
So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life--your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life--and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. .

It is only when we work from our place on the altar, we can actually get the "right work" done, at the right time, the right way, with the right spirit!

1 Peter 1:14-16
So you must live as God's obedient children. Don't slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn't know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, "You must be holy because I am holy."

WHEN FEELING LONELY

Related image

I am only overcome with loneliness when I lose touch with Father.
These feelings, which are usually triggered by the circumstances of the day, are so powerfully deceptive!
Too often they succeed in seperating me from the reality that the Lord is in me, around me  and for me 24/7. And this, brothers and sisters, doesn't make a lick of sense!
Isn't it true that the deceptoin is so complete, we end up either in disbelief, or with a bad case of the "forgets"?
My awareness of when loneliness begins its infamous attack has improved substantially.
You see, when it comes, I've learned to acknowledge it for what it is:
"My need to climb up onto Father's lap, and lay my head in His chest."
That's when I remember, "it is well with my soul"
Psalm 25  ESV
14 The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He makes known to them His covenant.
15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses.
18 Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.
19 Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me.
20 Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
21 May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
Father reminds me,
"I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS!"
I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WITH YOU!"
