If we only learn to listen, instead of just hearing what people say through the filter of our "Stinkin Thinkin"

It takes the revelation power of the Holy Spirit to demolish and remove the glass windows of our prejudices, bias, racism and stereotypes. These are the windows that filter our veiw of other people. It's not enough that the glass of these windows be broken, every piece of glass must be removed and then replaced. Not even the tiniest shard of glass can be allowed to remain; for the tiniest piece has the potential to poison the minds of many generations. Once removed, the Holy Spirit can then replace the old window with the "New Window" the mind of Christ. We will then be able to view others through the heart of God.

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
