The spiritual man/woman is always mindful of the principle of "Sewing and Reaping".
What we have planted and nurtured in 2017 - and the years prior - becomes our harvest for 2018.
Let's ask ourselves the following questions:
- Are we satisfied with what we have planted? Why?
- If it what was planted is not acceptable, why wasn't it noticed until now?
- What is our intended harvest for 2018? Why?
Whether good, bad or ugly, our harvest will always be the direct result of the type of seed we plant!
Now is the time to ask the Holy Spirit to give us the eyes to carefully assess the fields of our hearts and minds.
This helps us to plant for a harvest that pleases our Father.
Galatians 6:7-9 NLT
Don't be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up.
